The family-friendly festival will entail a day of fun in the sun with ice cream and frozen treats from local favorites and national brands. The event will feature various activities throughout the day for all ages, such as frozen treat sampling, savory local food trucks, adult beverages, numerous contests and activities including ice cream eating and frozen treat making competitions, a human foosball court, lawn games, a dunk tank, rock wall, water gun station, remote control boat racing, an after dark movie in the park, and so much more. This year's festival will also include two live music stages for both adults and kids with music presented by KUTX. In its 30th year, AIDS Walk Austin returns to Republic Square Park. Benefiting AIDS Services of Austin and 10 sharing agencies, this event brings together people (and pets) from all walks of life. The event attracts over 900 people annually for an afternoon of celebration and remembrance of those affected by HIV. Beging the day with a festival in the park featuring live music, food trucks, vendors, and activities, and then walk the 2.5 mile route that uses the Capital as a round-about.
