On December 5th, Stand Together presents ALABAMA benefit concert will be the first of its kind at the Moody Center. All net ticket revenue will go directly to Austin-based nonprofit Mobile Loaves & Fishes (mlf.org) through Red River Rising’s community platform. A huge win for the community, Stand Together (standtogether.org) will bring annual benefit concerts to Moody Center, further amplifying awareness of social issues and generating funds for more local nonprofits for years to come.
“We are honored to host this benefit concert that will bring people together through music to make a positive impact on the city we love so much,” says Jeff Nickler, the general manager of Austin’s Moody Center.
It is no surprise the “Dixieland Delight” singing stars are the ones to start this movement. ALABAMA are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame, and have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition, they are world-class philanthropists who have raised millions of dollars for various charities.
