Style & Beauty, Awards,

On Jan. 7, film and television’s crème de la crème braved the Los Angeles winter cold and descended upon the red carpet for the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. There were posh tuxes, plenty of sparkle and, in the year of Barbie, a dash of pink. Read on for the best-dressed stars below.

Issa Rae

Glowing as always, industry maverick and awards presenter Issa Rae donned a metallic orange geometric sequin embroidered gown from Pamella Rolan’s spring-summer 2024 collection. She paired the mesmerizing dress with Noudar jewelry.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift dripped in a radiant Gucci gown, De Beers jewelry and a trusty pair of Louboutin heels. And by wearing green, the megastar stirred up a clash among her fanbase at whether she was hinting at the forthcoming re-release of Reputation or her self-titled debut album.

Sheryl Lee Ralph

The Emmy-winning actress and star of Abbott Elementary looked regal in a black Safiyaa gown with a touch of chartreuse. Her look was polished by the inclusion of a Daniel William Diamonds necklace and Fernando Jorge ring.

Margot Robbie

In a nod to her Golden Globe-nominated role, Margot Robbie wore a glimmering hot pink gown by Giorgio Armani Privé that was inspired by the 1977 SuperStar Barbie. Finished with a matching boa, she also opted for Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Manolo Blahnik pumps and a Judith Leiber clutch.

Lenny Kravitz

Living up to his stylish reputation, Lenny Kravitz put a creative spin on the traditional tux look in an Alexander McQueen suit with side cutouts, Louboutin shoes and Chrome Hearts rings.

Emma Stone

Dua Lipa

The pop star and Barbie cast member wowed in a custom Schiaparelli haute couture gown inspired by Elsa Schiaparelli’s 1938 collaboration with Salvador Dalí. From the mind of creative director Daniel Roseberry, the dress featured a black velvet bustier, a silk satin faille skirt and trompe l’œil gilded bones in diamond and Schiaparelli gold.

Ayo Edebiri

Janelle James

Janelle James may be known for inciting some of the biggest laughs on Abbott Elementary, but the actor and stand-up comic also continues to make the case for a glamorous reputation. She wore a dramatic two-toned Monsoori gown and House of Emmanuele jewelry.

Natasha Lyonne
