BOA STEAKHOUSE

Known for reinventing the traditional American steakhouse, BOA’s ambiance is as divine as its cuisine. A celebrity favorite now gracing our streets, the premium ingredients are always quality and coincide beautifully alongside their award-winning wine list or in-house-designed craft cocktails. 300 W. 6th St., boasteak.com

DEAN’S ITALIAN STEAKHOUSE

Dean’s has proven it is more than capable of tackling both Italian and steakhouse-style cuisines. The freshness of their homemade bread welcomes you to the restaurant with an unmistakable aroma. Whether you’re going raw bar, surf and turf style or Italian with the melt-in-your-mouth pasta and ending with ribeye, you will be remiss not to get the Billionaire’s potato. 110 E. 2nd St., deanssteakhouseaustin.com

JEFFREY’S

Tucked in Clarksville since 1975 Jeffrey’s is a juxtaposed old-school steakhouse and mid-century modern style ambiance. The caviar service is one of few in the city, and the appetizers alone will take your breath away as you await the finale of the meat of the night. Mixing exotic Texas flavors and elite prime ingredients, don’t miss out on the Serrano honey bacon sourdough Brussels sprouts. 1204 W. Lynn, jeffreysofaustin.com

RED ASH

Known, of course, for all its Italian delicacies, Red Ash also offers exquisite meat selections. I don’t have to tell you it’s as if you’re stepping into Brooklyn when you’re taking a bite of the dry-aged porterhouse. Packed 24/7 since its re-opening, no night is a bad night, and every bite is perfection. Of course, you must get starters and sides–I recommend the Wood Roasted Beef Bone Marrow. 303 Colorado St., redashgrill.com

J. CARVERS

Perfectly placed in the West 6th District, this hot spot is a hometown favorite. Don’t be surprised when you run into some high-profile folks enjoying their favorite cut of meat, as J. Carvers is the kind of place you could sit for hours with friends, enjoying the extensive menu and delightful cocktails. I’m partial to The Negroni Royale myself. You cannot go wrong with anything on this menu; just ask any local. 509 Rio Grande St., jcarveratx.com
