This woman-owned vegan and vegetarian restaurant has been cooking food with love since the year 2000. Everything is made from scratch and served with a smile, from breakfast to lunch and dinner. The menu is extensive, with a full page of delicious coffees, teas, juices and specialty drinks, another page of cocktails, mocktails, beers and wines, then a host of options for food. The breakfast plates can be made with eggs or tofu, depending on your dietary preferences. If you’re looking to be decadent, we recommend The Renedict with tofu bacon, organic baby spinach, sliced tomatoes over a tofu scramble on an open-faced grilled ciabatta with vegan hollandaise sauce and scallions. Breakfast tacos, vegan omelets and more complete the a.m. offerings, plus "big azz salads" for lunch, vegan Tex-Mex queso, Massaman jackfruit curry, vegan BLT sandwiches and more for lunch delights.

While The Kitchen is not a vegetarian restaurant all the way through, it does feature some delicious vegetarian-friendly options that make it worth a stop. Elevated American bistro food and craft cocktails make this elegant spot a place to see and be seen. The menu changes depending on the seasonal ingredients available, but you can expect delicious vegan plates, including Indian puffy tacos with curried potatoes, chutneys and sweet yogurt, honeynut squash with mole and green tahini, crispy cauliflower with tamarind and coriander chutneys, garlic fries, beets with quinoa tabbouleh and more.
