Big Reds & Bubbles will once again take hold of the Driskill Hotel ballroom, inviting its crowd to savor more than 100 of the world’s finest Champagnes and “big red” wines. “More than a dozen of Austin’s finest chefs participate, pulling out all the culinary stops,” says Michael Russel, president of the Wine & Food Foundation of Texas.
To date, the nonprofit has awarded more than $1 million to culinary arts students, programs, and worthy organizations. New this year, VIP ticketholders will enjoy early access to the event, a sommelier-guided tour, and a glass of 2006 Duval-Leroy Blanc de Blancs Champagne.
