Big Sean performed for a private VIP party inside Arlyn Studios the first Sunday night of SXSW; in the audience was none other than director Spike Lee.

It’s no secret that Jimmy Kimmel’s favorite thing to do in Austin is eat. Someone pointed him in the direction of Olamaie while he was in town filming his late-night talk show at the Long Center, where he couldn’t help but snap a shot of the hardworking kitchen crew. (Somehow, the restaurant’s infamous buttery biscuits didn’t make it on his Instagram feed, despite Kimmel hashtagging the necessity to do so.)

The actress and Honest Co. founder hopped from panel to party via pedicab—but first, she took a video #selfie.

Brooklyn Decker hit the town with Dannijo jewelry designer Danielle Snyder—chowing down on endless sushi at Uchiko, shopping for vintage dresses on South Congress, and (unfortunately) getting pulled over in her Tesla.
An outfit isn’t an outfit until it's chronicled for eternity in an #evachenpose. The Lucky editor-in-chief—in town for just a day to speak on the power of social media—packed lightly yet stylishly. (Purely by coincidence, her Tibi transit dress matched perfectly with SXSW’s primary color palette.)

The SNL master impersonator couldn’t resist posting a pic with Bob Saget. The duo—along with fellow SNL cast member Vanessa Bayer—joined up for a charity variety show with Above Average and The Ally Coalition, to raise awareness for LGBTQ equality and funds for OutYouth, a local Austin charity.

Get out! Speaking on an Interactive panel and dropping by the Long Center for a Jimmy Kimmel taping, the Veep star not only took a pic with a fan who spelled her name wrong, she Instagrammed it herself, too.

The musician made a quality selection of food pitstops in Austin: Dai Due (meeting up with butcher Jesse Griffiths, eating crickets), Terry Black’s Barbecue, and a special ticketed SouthBites prix fixe dinner at Qui with chefs Sean Brock, Nathan Myrhcold, and Paul Qui.

The TLC fashion queen vogued in her Stephen F. Austin Intercontinental hotel room. The authentic selfie is part of a social media campaign she’s behind to promote women showing their real world—bad and good—on Instagram via the hashtag #womenIRL. (To be honest, you’re not so bad in real life, Ms. London.)

The Roast Master General captured a candid moment that—as any local knows—perfectly encapsulates how Sixth Street gets its “Dirty Sixth” nickname.

Taylor Swift’s best friend—a.k.a. fashion model Karlie Kloss—made a quick trip to the ATX and snapped a pic of her SXSW speaker notes just ahead of her panel at the new JW Marriott.

The modern-day “Ebony and Ivory” were bouncing off the walls as they prepare to promote their buddy comedy, Get Hard. On premiere night, the two got the entire 1,100-strong crowd at the Paramount Theater on their feet when they came on stage ahead of the film’s world premiere.

And finally, no SXSW would be complete without Grumpy Cat. The crotchety feline’s dreams came true when his grumpy friend—comedienne and Fresno star Aubrey Plaza—dropped by the Friskies Haus of Bacon on Congress Avenue to say hello.
