Saturday, Nov. 16, was a celebration of all things JOYÀ at VidantaWorld Riviera Maya, but even as the Mexican resort marked a milestone, it had its eyes squarely on the future.
Cirque du Soleil’s colorful, heartwarming and thrilling show has been a resident special of VidantaWorld Riviera Maya for 10 years, and more than a few celebrities showed up to the anniversary celebration.

Selma Blair, Christine Quinn, Peyton List, Grace VanderWaal, Natalie Martinez, Danielle Panabaker and Katie Cassidy all came through to toast the jungle-themed production that tells the story of a young woman’s journey through an imaginative and magical land.

There was a cocktail reception and JOYÀ dinner experience for those in attendance, but most exciting of all was the announcement of a new Cirque show coming to the resort.
Cirque du Soleil LUDÕ is a new water-themed dinner show that will make its debut in VidantaWorld's custom-built theater designed to put guests in the middle of the action. LUDÕ is scheduled to come to live in November of 2025.
