Estilo owner Stephanie Coultress moves her chic boutique to a sleek Tarrytown space.
The newly relocated Estilo in Tarrytown carries brands such as Enza Costa, Jay Godfrey, and Capulet.
Stephanie Coultress was a pioneer of the now-thriving Second Street District 11 years ago when she opened the hip, high-end boutique Estilo. Now as the mother of two girls, her lifestyle is more dance class than dance club, so in December she moved Estilo to her own Tarrytown neighborhood.
“This is just how we live now,” Coultress says as she looks around her boutique, the only one of its kind in the mostly residential area. Her merchandise caters to women who want clothes that are functional and fashionable, and she also carries an array of special-occasion pieces, shoes, and jewelry, much of it locally made.
On a recent weekday morning, several influential women popped into the store in between appointments. As Coultress aided them, she smiled, saying: “Shopping has to be easy. After 11 years downtown, I was ready for this.” 2727 Exposition Blvd., Suite 121, 512-236-0488
