Soaring to speedy new heights is Williams Racing (williamsf1.com) brand ambassador, spirits enthusiast and style setter Jenson Button. With Formula One revving up in Austin, we caught up with the risk-taker to learn more about life in the fast lane.

You are no stranger to taking on new adventures—from racing to launching a whiskey label to representing Williams Racing. What do you love most about the job? The dream was always Formula One from the moment I started racing, and I was lucky enough for it to become a huge part of my life. Frank Williams (the founder of Williams Racing) and the team were the ones that first made that dream become a reality, so to be back working with the team in a new era all these years later is an absolute honor.

When do you feel the most like yourself? When it’s just me and the people I love. I live in Los Angeles now with my wife, Brittny, and our children, Hendrix and Lenny.

Who would play you in a movie?

Hopefully whoever it is has a sense of humor! In fact though, at the moment, Keanu Reeves is currently working on a documentary that tells the story of my 2009 World Championship victory for Disney+.

Signature sip?

Coachbuilt, of course!

What’s on the horizon?

I’m definitely keeping myself busy, which is how I like it. There are a few projects that have launched in the last year or so such as Radford, and I’m even involved in a whiskey brand called Coachbuilt, which has been a lot of fun. I also, of course, spend a lot of the year in the F1 paddock where, as well as my role with Williams, I work with Sky Sports F1 on reporting their coverage, which is a very different way to spend a race weekend, but the team are a brilliant bunch so I’ve really loved it.
