Independence Day is a celebrated series of events in the Hill Country. It is a day spent remembering our heritage and the comradery of the day’s history. Dare I say it is not even a day but a weekend-long occurrence of freedom, fireworks, and, in Texas, meat on the grill. Here are some star-spangled ways to celebrate, from adults-only to kid-centered.

Saturday, July 6, resort guests can attend the annual Red, White, and Blue barbecue featuring live music by Aaron McDonnell and the Neon Eagles. The event will also feature a delicious Texas-style barbecue and a spectacular fireworks show. Adults can upgrade to the Star-Spangled VIP Experience for exclusive access to the Mokara Spa pool terrace from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.
