What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of being a luxury realtor in Austin is meeting fascinating clients who often become fast friends. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn as I assist people with significant life transitions. It’s an honor to be entrusted with guiding them through these moments.
What are luxury buyers most interested in at the moment?
I’ve noticed a growing preference for properties that provide unique experiences, privacy and exclusivity. These discerning buyers often seek bespoke interiors, exquisite finishes, home automation, personalized amenities and wellness-focused features like spas, fitness centers, golf simulators and sports courts. Expansive outdoor living spaces and security measures such as gated entrances and advanced surveillance systems are highly sought after.
What market trends can we expect to see this year?
Noticeable migration from primary markets like New York City and San Francisco to secondary hubs like Austin and Nashville continues, drawn by factors like reduced taxes and appealing business or lifestyle settings. Those relocating to these secondary markets seek what they may not have had in the past, including space, privacy and outdoor amenities, while still desiring access to urban cultural attractions.
What is next for you?
I’m focused on further expanding my global realtor and client networks under the esteemed Christie’s Int’l Real Estate label and through my involvement in the prestigious Christie’s Masters Circle. Additionally, I’m excited to lead philanthropic initiatives as EVP of Philanthropy for @Properties Lone Star | Christie’s, with an exciting announcement on the horizon. I remain deeply committed to seizing every opportunity and embracing the dynamic nature of my career, which I consider a way of life instead of just a job. thefabpropertygroup.com
