Ramy Brook is a fashion mogul from New York who frequents Austin to see her son, who attends UT. She often hosts events in the 512 to showcase her flourishing brand. Last SXSW, she hosted a fabulous outing at the Commodore Perry. Brook is a big fan of ATX (it’s a mutual attraction, you’ll see her looks all over town) and shared a few favorites with us alongside some brand secrets, such as her shoe collaboration with Chelsea Paris, coming out this fall! What are you most looking forward to this fall in Austin?

UT tailgates and football games. There is nothing like the energy of Texas football, and Austin tailgates don’t mess around!! I also LOVE parent’s weekend at UT and heading to Sixth Street.

What are some of your favorite products and local Austin sources or shops for fall? Fall dresses? Fall shoes?

South Congress and 2nd St. District These are my favorite areas to shop! I love shopping at Hearth and Soul, Grove Hill and Lux Rox. For shoes, hats and Cowboy boots, Allens is a must.

Favorite spot for a night out in Austin?

Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar is hands down my favorite.

What is your nonnegotiable Austin MUST? Attending a comedy show is an absolute must for both my son and me! Whenever we get the chance, we go.
