FORE Kids ATX: Golfing for a Good Cause

Austin's philanthropic scene is set to shine this fall with the return of FORE Kids ATX, a two-day charity event founded by professional golfer Sergio Garcia and his wife, children’s activist Angela. Now in its third year, this golf-centric fundraiser combines sport, entertainment and goodwill to benefit several Central Texas nonprofits, including Dell Children’s Medical Center, Foster Village, The Muny Conservancy Austin Youth Golf Academy and The UGLI Foundation.

The event kicks off on Friday, November 1, with PAR-Tee at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin. This year's theme, "Cirque Du Austin," promises an engaging evening featuring acrobatics and aerial performances. Saturday, November 2, brings the main event: the FORE Kids Golf Tournament at Fazio Foothills Golf Course at Omni Barton Creek. With a 9 a.m. shotgun start, professional golfers will join public figures and skilled amateurs on the greens. Confirmed pros include Patrick Reed, David Puig and Abraham Ancer, with more players set to be announced. This tournament serves as both a sporting event and a powerful vehicle for change.

Making a Difference

Since its inception in 2022, FORE Kids ATX has raised over $5 million for organizations dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in Central Texas. Beneficiaries include Dell Children's Medical Center, which provides specialized healthcare; Foster Village, supporting children in foster care; The Muny Conservancy Austin Youth Golf Academy, promoting youth golf and wellness; and The UGLI Foundation, which combats bullying and promotes inclusivity.
