When you need to break out of your restaurant rut, who better to ask than a food blogger? Here, we asked some of Austin’s best to share their favorite summer bites.

"As a great poet once said, 'If you like it, then you should have put a ring on it.' Sweet Ritual took this to heart this summer by putting a donut around their delicious ice cream. They occasionally break out their 'conenuts,' and we were lucky enough to snag one up this summer. This. Is. Living." 4631 Airport Blvd. Ste. 125, 512-666-8346
"When I heard that Cane Rosso was opening this summer, I was super stoked. The off-menu Honey Badger is one of my all-time favorite pizzas. Putting hot soppressata, bacon marmalade, and habanero-infused honey together makes for the perfect marriage of saltiness, sweetness, and spiciness. One bite into the fantastic trio with the homemade mozzarella, and the chew from the dough, will turn your world upside down. Do not plan to share because you will be eating this whole pie by yourself." Cane Rosso, 4715 S. Lamar Blvd. #103, 512-904-0534

"I am thoroughly impressed with the fresh new features on the summer menu at Juliet Ristorante. A standout is the gorgeously plated, seared rare tuna with a refreshing blend of al dente fregola, kalamata olives, capers, fresh grape tomatoes, crispy pancetta, and a brightly flavored lemon sauce. Chef Jacob Weaver continues to impress." Juliet Ristorante, 1500 Barton Springs Rd., 512-479-1800

"High quality fresh fish can be hard to find in Austin, and it's all I crave in the summer. Komé has an incredible lunch special, which gets you the highest quality sushi for easily the best price in the city. Pair the sushi lunch combo with some cold unfiltered sake to cure any 100 plus degree day." Komé, 4917 Airport Blvd., 512-712-5700
Boozy ice pops at @quiaustin - incredible 4 hour dinner at Qui trying out the new menu. 3 hour lunch today at Boiler Nine so I basically spent 7 hours today just eating. #kokoapproves Photo by @passporttofriday http://liketk.it/2oGEU @liketoknow.it #liketkit

"I used to eat at Fresa’s Chicken twice a week. They just opened up their South First location with an expanded menu that includes frozen margaritas. I loved the striped bass, fried Brussels sprouts, Mexican street corn, and prickly pear frozen margarita!" Fresa’s Chicken al Carbon, 1703 S. First St., 512-992-2946

"I'd love to share a recipe from my cookbook, Sweet Noshings. I love these black and pink cookies because they are a twist on the classic black and white cookie I grew up with, but with naturally pink raspberry frosting. Perfect for summer!"
